＊仮定法は「話者の想像＝願望・仮定」を述べる。（命令法は「話者の意志＝提案・要求・希望」）
＜Word＞
insiste：〜を強く主張する。要求する。
resign：辞職する（leave / quit / step down）
director：取締役、（映画などの）監督
detest：〜をひどく嫌う
decline：〜を丁寧に断る。（１）減少する。

 　quite　（副）かなり
 　quiet　（形）静か
◆仮定法現在：話者の提案要求を表す動詞に続く＜that節＞の中で用いられる。

　：I insisted that he [should] resign as director.
　　　shouldはイギリス英語で仮定法現在の代わりに用いられる。まぁ訳を考えると、確かにそうだ。


◆仮定法過去：動詞の過去形を用いる。＜was＞よりも＜were＞を用いる。
